Today: Gav's State of the City Address

Same here, Gavin! But just who isn't excited about "Live with Regis and Kelly's" 3-D Halloween episode?!

The Examiner lavishes Gavin with praise today, just hours before his annual State of the City address. "Am I satisfied? No," Newsom tells the Examiner, going on to say, "but the fact is we’re moving in the right direction." What's more, it seems, he's now "in campaign mode." Oh, Gavin, when aren't you in campaign mode? That's what we love about you.

Want to hear him prattle on and on today? Of course you do. Witness the man, the legend, the hot-ass machine at:

Where: UCSF, Mission Bay Campus Community Center, Robertson Auditorium, 1675 Owens St. (at 16th Street)
When: Today
Time: 1 p.m.

Hahah, "hot-ass machine". Remember when Wonkette called Matt G. a hunky-hipster (hyphen and all)? That was classic.

But anyway, I can't wait for Gavin to admit how shitty of a job he's been doing, promise us he's going to fix it, then not do anything. Welcome to the Golden Age...

I've been thinking SF politics resembles an episode of MST3K too.

Both lenses are red, those are rose-colored 2-D glasses. I imagine gazing through those you see MUNI buses running on time, streets free of urine and garbage, and nobody camping out in Golden Gate Park. Also you can see through women's clothes.

ahaha, rose colored glasses!!!
