SFist Photo: OktoberFest Comes to San Francisco
Remember Jägermeister (or the related "liquid cocaine")? Made some importer dude a billionaire in the 1990's. Well it's back, baby (in test tube shot glass form anyway), and its German roots qualified it for the OktoberFest.

Fort Mason saw another 'Fest over the weekend. What did people think about it? See you after the jump.
The price is now up to $20 a head (unless you get some kind of deal, as we did), and all that gets you is inside the door. This policy leads to a polarized response to say the least. We empathize with every comment on Yelp.
San Francisco OktoberFest is what you make of it.
The musicians were great, let's agree on that.
See you next year. Or not.
Get your oom-pah-pah on.

You gotta pay admission for Pukefest in addition to buying the beer?
sheesh!
b.t.w., for the uninitiated, Jägermeister is absolutely revolting. But when you want to be smooth with the ladies, go for its honey-flavored cousin, Barrenjäger.
I'm more a fernet-branca fan, myself. It's just as revolting- but not as sweet.
Haven't heard of the Barranejager. Fernet-Branca - have heard of that, http://www.sfweekly.com/2005-12-07/news/the-myth-of-fernet/
Some people like Beerfest better, but it's 50 bones.
I yelled at a guy for peeing on the floor (carpeted, upstairs, while we were eating dinner) at Oktoberfest on Saturday. He, in response, asked me how much money I made. ?!?! It was my fourth year there and never again (at least not on a weekend day). Ew.
