SFist Blotter

The latest weekend murder in SF: At around noon on Saturday, a 66-year-old Asian man was shot to death after a road rage incident in Viz Valley. Witnesses say the man was arguing with three men in their late teens or early 20s after a fender bender right before the shots were fired. After shooting the man, at least one of the suspects then stole the man's car. The car was later recovered; the cops say someone tried to torch it, but failed.

cokebottlepacbell.jpgTwo weird highway shootings to report on too: A 25-year-old man from San Mateo was shot dead at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night while driving on 101 North near Burlingame (as seen in Day/Bay yesterday.) And in another incident less than 24 hours later, a 41-year-old man in a BMW from El Cerrito was also hit in a random drive-by shooting on the highway this morning around 10 a.m., just after getting off the Bay Bridge in SF. The El Cerrito man said a green Dodge van driving erratically pulled up next to his car and fired a shot. There wasn't apparently any road rage incident beforehand (that the BMW guy knows about), and the van dashed off towards 280 and remains at large.

Okay, here's something that's not car or shooting related -- according to Matier and Ross, a 52-year-old grandmother's suing the Giants because she broke her ankle sliding on the giant Coke bottle slide (known as "the Guzzler"). She's asking for $2 million plus punitive damages.
