Darling MUNI LCD Screens Colorful, Nascent

munivideoscreens.jpg
Screen shot captured Sunday afternoon by ciaran-sf at the Montgomery Street station. It went without K, T, L, or M outbound info since last Thursday, we're told.

On the sunnier side, at least the outbound J-Church and N-Judah intervals are almost spot-on.

Ah, yet another bit of NextMuni information to ignore. The buses and trains themselves may not be reliable, but the uselessness of NextMuni remains constant.

Still like that today. I just haven't had a chance to upload my cell phone picture.

Come ON! Give MUNI some credit here. At least they have the names of the rail lines listed correctly.

I like the combo of the KT lines.

Why haven't we been combining the line letters and names? Examples

Kingleside or is it Tingleside now?
Moceanview

OMG That's brilliant:

Farket
Jurch
Tingleside
Moceanview
Nudah
and the Sasstro Shuttle

Matt- SO now all we have to do is a nija art project to secretly change all the station signs to the new names with decals.

Later, we can hire a teenaged hacker to change all the MUNI software to reflect the better naming system.

Quick, let's copyright the names.

But hey, at least we now know that the displays are running the latest*, most robust technology... Internet Explorer 6!

*In 2001. Which, from the point of view of their control center, is the future! Yay future!
