It's Got to Be the Morning After

Seahwaks 23 49ers 3- Remember when the Niners, like, beat the Seahawks, like all the time? And remember how their impressive displays against the Seattle Blue Men made people think the Niners were on their way? Oh, those were the days. And, hey, you know, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again. Anyhoo, the Niners just plain ole got used and tossed away yesterday. It's hard to even know where to begin, but suffice it to say nothing worked. The only reason the score wasn't worse was because the only thing the Niners did a halfway decent job of was not having all the yards they gave up turn into points. So much for small favors. We could go on and on about the awfulness of the offense, but it doesn't really matter because things might be getting a whole lot worse (or, maybe better) in that Alex Smith got banged up and left the game early. It's still unclear when he'll be back.

Raiders 35 Dolphins 17- We were a bit skeptical when Lane Kiffin was hired, well, really skeptical, but maybe we were a tad too hasty. Maybe Davis had just a brief enough moment of lucidity to get the football genius inside of him to discover some unhidden genius of a coach. Of course, it could just be a matter of no longer having Art Shell and the B&B guy on board, but maybe not. The Raiders have not only won two in a row (and lost a game they should have won before that) but won in convincing fashion with a beat down of the Fins. And an old school beat down at that-- the Silver & Black rushed for 299 yards. Somewhere, Vince Lombardi is nodding his head in approval. Or maybe it's because the news came out that Radiohead is going to release new music in ten days. We hear he's a big fan.

As for baseball? Eh, whatever. All we can say, and we mean this from the bottom of our hearts is go Phils!

Indeed, go Phils.

They deserve it.

Every Niners lost is just a better 1st round pick for the Patriots. Mwahahahahahahhaha.

Radiohead jokes aside, it was kind of a big deal that the Dolphins ran Daunte out of town in the off-season, then he dropped 3 rushing TDs on them.

Do work son!
