Hopefully the new appointee will vaguely represent Sunset in the same manner which Ed Jew did (albeit with less lying and corruption). The people in the Sunset probably voted for him because of his economically conservative views, and pledges to represent the middle class residents (paving some streets etc., basically getting something for their property tax dollars). Why do I get the feeling that Chu will not do that? This basically invalidates those voters. That's the one downside.
