I think Furry Tales is great spot. So I am not sure what Suckafree means on a couple things.

Minimal Hours: Prior to Furry Tales South Paw was only open 6 days a week. Furry Tales has always been open 7 days a week. So this minimal hours rant makes no sense to me.

Blaming the Market: Suckafree should try and get to know Julia before casting stones at her. In fact that should probably be a rule of thumb for all humanity. BTW: Furrytales has just passed the 1 year mark. So this is really really really going to suprise Suckafree.

Not Greeting Customers: No offense to anyone out there, But I don't believe Suckafree. I base this on Logic, and not Suckafree as a person. The facts on minimal hours are incorrect, and the opinions about Julia were made w/o actually meeting her or speaking to her. As a result I think thier is a tinge of mud slinging going on.

Having said that, I would check both spots out, and I am sure you will end up liking both. What one store deosn't have, the other will. It's a win/win for all pet owners. It can't get any better than that.

pete's tavern, owned by pete from momo's. haven't tried it yet but heard it has the first potential to make good use of that rediculous amount of space. they put a lot of money into it and remodeled it to center around a huge round bar in the middle of the space.

You guys are making me misty eyed for my old haunt, Potrero Hill. I used to live on the corner of Texas and Mariposa.

In South Beach, has anyone tried out the humongous-looking sports bar/tavern that opened up on King Street/The Embarcadero near Townsend? I think that's where its at ... maybe closer to 2nd Street and King? If I only remembered the name, I'd look it up on Yelp.

All I want is a Trader Joe's and a good community-gathering cafe in Rincon Hill.

I don't see any nail salons. There needs to be at least 5 in any given block, according to a little-known city ordinance passed last year.

hey now...

that's my hood. south paw was her first and is run by neighbors. it's an awesome place where you can wash your dog, catch up on the latest pet related gossip and what have you. this is their second store as they also own paw trero in p-hill.

the new store is kind of a joke for fu fu dogs only. i'm quite surprised she's still open. first time retailer and all. minimal hours, no sense of customer service. i figure she'll blame the market when she fails but someone needs to tell her to greet the customer when they walk in.
