Say what you will, but this fellow has become a master at handling these kinds of events. A useful skill to have.

San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom welcomes all and invites them to empty their pockets at the 17th Annual Autumn Moon Festival on Grant Avenue in Chinatown. Continues tomorrow Sunday from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. And there's also the Dragon Boat races at Treasure Island. So grab your moon cakes and get on out there. Should be a sunny day.
