Yay! Finally, a baseball decision from the Giants' front office! You might recall my adamant stance on not discounting Bonds' achievement... but that doesn't mean that I think that keeping the dude around once he's broken the record and lost ALL his sparkle makes any sense. Maybe they can use some of his annual payroll to sign the entire Florida Marlins squad.

They're fine for starting pitching. The bullpen is terrible, and they're going to need at least two good bats. Go find 'em.

this backs up sabean' incinuations that magawan has been stepping on his toes for years and doing these deals himself. i wanted sabean fired for resigning guys like barry and morris after career ending elbow surgery. guess it's magowan that really needs to be fired.
