What is most interesting about this appearance is that the management and customers of Java Beach very heavily backed another candidate. There were parties and fundraisers sponsored by the owners for the other candidate. When he won people I know who frequent the place said the response was anyone but him. And now they host a meeting?

If he's still planning to appear, you can chat with EJ at his scheduled "open house" tomorrow, Thursday, September 20, at the Java Beach Cafe from 2 to 5 pm. But, call first to make sure he hasn't asked for a seven-week delay.

Seven weeks? I guess we all could sing horrible songs over and over again during public comment session of the supervisors meetings just to drive him nuts.
