Yeah about walking behind me as I smoke on a public street... you do realize there are millions of cars around you belching out far more malodorous toxins... you are aware of that fact right?

People will stop bitching about smokers when the smokers stop acting like they have an inalienable right to be pissy when they're not allowed to smoke wherever they want. Smoking's just like felching. I'm not going to say you can't do it, just do it at home where you won't be getting in anyone else's way with it. Oh, and please don't do either in my lungs.

Good. And when is SF going to get with it as well? Every day I get stuck in my walk to work behind some inconsiderate loser blowing smoke in my face. I hope their future cancer/emphysema is painful, indeed. But I guess if Newsom doesn't even have the balls to fire employees to their faces, we won't see him taking the reins on this one anytime soon.

Let's not forget that it was the restaurant worker's union who push for the smoking ban in restaurants (using the argument of working in a safe environment).
