I was actually in the chorus that did Carmina Burana with him in the Grand Tetons. It was absolutely wonderful.

Cement Brunette,

but I have no clue what/who Mottler T is! So at least I am free of that confusion.

RedSeca2: Runnicles is music director of the Grand Teton music festival, so he probably conducted more than one performance there. Not a bad place to spend a vacation!

Runnicles actually played piano in chamber music concerts there, I see:

I wish he'd do chamber music around here too!

Also, I am confused about the whole MahTler T. I think I know what you're trying to do (sneak MTT into Mahler's name), but when you read it, it sounds like Mottler T. What's up with that?

On my annual summer motorcycle tour I spent a few days in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and learned about another thing Donald Runnicles does when he is not conducting Wagner at the SF Opera:

Well, at least Europeans and Brits can comment on "classical music" intelligently. All you get here in the States is crap like "Oh, it was lovely. I wanted to fall asleep, it was so soothing" or "I like the part where the drums played real loud."
