Stop, You're Making A White Stripe Nervous!
First la Timberlake, now this: the White Stripes have just canceled their tour, which was supposed to roll through here on 9/21. It seems:
"The White Stripes announced today that they are canceling their forthcoming tour due to health issues. Meg White is suffering from acute anxiety and is unable to travel at this time. The White Stripes sincerely apologize to their fans. `We hate to let people down and are very sorry.'"
You can get a refund wherever ever you bought your ticket(s).
Get well, Meg. We wish you a quick and Xanax-riddled recovery.

I hope they make it back. Their last show at the Greek rocked my socks off.
Simply more proof that Meg is the lumbering dead weight of the White Stripes.

OrangeDrink, that would only further prove her awesomeness as a drummer! I should clarify -- her awesomeness as the White Stripes' drummer. It wouldn't work for The Who. If she's good enough for Jack, darn it, she's good enough for me.

Uhh, why is this in the MUNI section? I'm trying to find out why my commute on light rail has sucked for the past few days and whether the water main break on 1st Street will become a new excuse for MUNI to suck, and there's an article about the White Stripes?
