SFist Photo: A Dahlia says, "Good Morning, Sunshine"

San Francisco's Official Flower (no, it's not cannabis - surprised?) doesn't seem to mind our recent unseasonably balmy weather. The Conservatory of Flowers is in the background

Everybody's heading over to Golden Gate Park's Dahlia Dell to check out some end-of-summer colour. You should too. Just follow Google's yellow man down Conservatory Road to join the crowd.

This post is just for decoration - that's it and that's all. After the jump, a riot of color, fire trucks, Ferraris and busy bees. Click on over!

Here's the riot of colour, courtesy of our friend Flickr. Or here, if you can't view the cool slideshow.

Well, how about just one Ferrari (a 1961 250GT California, or something like that :)) and just one fire truck (at the annual Dahlia Society picnic)?

And just one busy bee. See you there!

That's beautiful. The bumblebee one too . . . can we dedicate it to Siebel?

I JUST walked by there yesterday & thought how gorgeous the dahlias are this year! Thanks for featuring.
