We were thinking wistfully just the other day about Drew Altizer's excellent society photos, now that we no longer read the Sunday Styles section to show our support for the dearly-departed Catherine Bigelow -- so how excited were we when Drew sent us this latest round of A-list pictures he's taken!
Joan Rivers and Bill Pullman are in town with their stage productions at the Magic Theater: The Joan Rivers Theater Project (a work in progress) and Expedition 6 (which involves trapezes), respectively. Nob Hill couple Wendy Dransfield and Bob Bridger threw them a cocktail party, and here's what it looked like.

Whose the woman in the black jacket hanging out with Joan Rivers?
I'm not sure Joan Rivers even looks human anymore. At a certain point, you just need to let age catch up to you - because she couldn't look any worse that the "skin stretched back over my skull" look that she is sporting.
I am scared. Joan looks like a figure in a cheesy wax museum.
Something that horrible shouldn't be walking the earth.
One more lift and her eyes will pull back thru her brain and exit the back of her head.
The all time record for the most bizarre plastic surgery goes to ORLAN. I hosted a party for her the last time she was here in SF. She gave me a small snip of her face in gauze as a thank you.
