MistahHM, do you never get out of town, or what? BART is running limited all-night service to make sure people can still get to and from the East Bay... but then what? If someone comes from Oakland and wants to get to Geary & 25th, it'll take them an hour and half on the non-limited, reduced schedule 38. Just think about it for a second.

comment #1 pretty much nailed it, and besides, there will in all likelihood be much, much less activity in the City which is also why my server friends aren't working their usual shifts... not rocket science but you would have to know that labor day is one of the busiest driving days of the year, and that most of those people would not be heading into the shitty.

Yes, mattymatt, some of us do want to sit at home on Labor Day. Why would we want to spend a well deserved day off on a stinky MUNI bus? BTW, does anyone know what the f@ck is going on at Van Ness station during the day? The smells eminating around the entrance are horrid. I gag nearly every time I walk past.

Um... Muni sucks and all but... most of these are commuter lines serving the financial district. Muni runs a Sunday schedule on Labor Day, hence these are not run.
