Downtown Symphony

sfsymphyb.jpg

What's better than picking up a Beard Papa cream puff across from the Metreon over your lunch break? Eating that Beard Papa cream puff while catching the free symphony concert at Yerba Buena Gardens tomorrow!

The performance starts tomorrow at noon, and the orchestra's scheduled to perform some Shostakovitch, selections from Strauss's Salome (with a soprano in tow), and the Tchaikovsky symphony that the orchestra will be performing in Scotland next week.

Bring a beach towel to work, and pick up six cream puffs to go!

There isn't a Beard Papa at the Metreon. There's one in the San Francisco Shopping Centre and one across the street from Yerba Buena Gardens on Yerba Buena Lane.

Hi guest. Read much? It says across from the Metreon, not in the Metreon. But is this really more about cream puffs and less about the final monologue scene from Salome? Sad.

Meh, Beard Papa is really nothing special. I had equivalent cream puffs from the cafeteria back in college.
