Close call! A truck driver careened off the San Mateo Bridge yesterday afternoon, but managed to miss both the bay and a shed full of explosive material right by the bridge. The driver missed the shed by mere feet -- it sounds kind of like an exciting ending to an action-adventure movie (San Mateo -- the hit of the summer!). They had to use two tow trucks to get the truck off the side of the bridge. Fortunately, the truck was empty or it probably would have gone straight into the shed (and then, boom.)
More Your Black Muslim Bakery news: the attorney for the handyman (with the awesomeness of the name LeRue Grim) who's been arrested for journalist Chauncey Bailey's murder is now saying that the handyman was told to take the fall for the head of the bakery, Yusuf Bey IV. Bey and the handyman were apparently put in a room together during the interrogation but for some reason, the Oakland PD didn't tape their conversation. Also, per a tip from a gentle reader (thanks, gentle reader!), check out LeRue Grim's attorney disciplinary record. Sex with a 20-year-old wife of a client? Oh my! (More stuff here too.)
And a guy who worked with Jerry Brown in law enforcement at the state Dept. of Justice has resigned after getting busted for a DUI.

now why couldn't the menacing Nation of Islam goons in Hunters Point fall as hard as the house of cards that used to be "Your Black Muslim Bakery"?
The article said flammable, not explosive. There is a difference.
For the person who wrote this... first off you dont even know LeRue Grim. Why should his one suspension matter.. and why should his career be only judged on that particular matter? Why dont you report all his the high profile cases he has won? What about the laws he has changed for the state of California? You would bother to look that up though right? You are just like any other dumb ass American that is all about bringing others down to make themselves feel better. Are you perfect? Have you confessed and paid for all your sins or wrong doings? Probably freaking not. Who the hell are you to judge? So what if he had sex with a 20 year old? Like that doesn't ever happen? Did you ever think about maybe that 20 year old slut threw herself on him? You also need to do more research. LeRue Grim is not trying to hide anything about his career... maybe before you click the first item that comes up on LeRue Grim when you type it into Yahoo Search you should click a few other websites. One good one is his own web page. He goes into full detail about his career and owns up to what he has done. How many men or people for this matter own up to wrong events in their own lives... not many! So unless you are an angel sent from the gates of heaven then I would suggest that you stop writing these uneducated blogs and get a real job... or maybe a life.
