SFist Tonight

heywillpower.jpg

-- hey willpower at Glitterbox: At this "funk punk thrash electro discotheque" (what, no show tunes? Bah), local pop/R&B/dance band performs. DJs Javier Natureboy and Junkyard spin funk, punk, and electro well into the morning hours. At least until 3 a.m., anyway. Starts at 9 p.m. at Cat Club, 1190 Folsom (at Eighth Street).

-- Darrell Hammond: SNL comic comes to SF. He goes on at 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. at Cobb's Comedy Club, 915 Columbus (at Lombard); $35.

-- Good Boy, Bad Boi and Good Girl, Bad Grrl Cocktail Hour(s): In anticipation of tomorrow's Drag King Contest, head over to this get-smashed-on-the-cheap happy hour(s). Between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m., $1 margaritas; and between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., $1 shots of tequila. Drag King royalty and many drunk dykes will be there. So should you. 9 p.m. at The Lexington, 3463 19th Street (at Mission); free.

-- Eavesdropper: In LA's longest-running play, a party crasher eavesdrops from behind a shower curtain on several party guests using the can, one of which involves a murder. Zoinks, indeed. The curtain goes up at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. at Stage 250 @ Off-Market Theater, 965 Mission (at Fifth Street); $15.

-- Lewis Black: No longer just for Stravinsky and SF society shrews, our awesome symphony hall also hosts political comedian and occasional Daily Show star, Lewis Black. Starts at 8 p.m. at Davies Symphony Hall, 201 Van Ness (at Grove); $55.50-$75.50
