San Mateo boy made good -- very good -- Merv Griffin died today at age 82, via prostate cancer.

After a stint as a singer and Broadway baby, rumored homosexual Mervyn Edward "Merv" Griffin, Jr. honed in on television, creating such iconic shows as Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, The Merv Griffin Show, and many more.

RIP, Merv.

Wonder if anybody is going to mention the man was gay, now that he is dead.

Uh, maybe Sylvester Stallone.

Merv wasn't gay.

He just liked having young hung studs hanging around with him all the time.

Well I'll be damned!
He wasn't Canadian!
