Bonds' Helmet In Hall; Should Be An Interactive Exhibit

Looks like the helmet Barry Bonds wore when hitting his record-tying and record-breaking home runs (755 and 756 if you're counting) is being displayed at the National Baseball Museum and Hall of Fame. Exciting!

May we make a suggestion? Let people try it on.

What a wonderful educational, interactive exhibit that would be. Seeing personally how huge one's head would be after years of using steroids (allegedly! allegedly!) is probably a most persuasive argument to keep little sluggers off the "clear" than vague tales of ball shrinkage.

(Okay, we know Barry's said that his head is the same size it's always been, but we're skeptical, as are those fellows that wrote Game of Shadows).

that is a fantastic idea. i remember thinking the same thing at the vivienne westwood exhibit.

It would be even more educational if it were displayed next to one of his old helmets from his early-90s Pittsburgh Pirates days.

Good idea. They should do something similar at the Sex Museum in Amsterdam.
