Yelp! Guns Drawn In Front Of Yelp's Offices?
Photos courtesy of Jeremy Stoppelman
Friend of SFist Jeremy Stoppelman, Yelp's CEO and co-founder, just shot us this note:
Guns drawn in front of Yelp office...Jeremy
(That would be Mission & New Montgomery.) According to Jeremy's comments on a Yelp thread, "(A) couple guys were arrested, cops are searching the car. Settled down now..."
Anyone have any further details? (We'd also draw your attention to the tips submission on the left-hand column [SFist Tip Line], where someone is saying the former Brother-in-Law BBQ's been lit up? Geez!)
You can see more pics and what the Yelpers themselves are saying about it here.
More details on both situations if and when we get them.

RE: Brothers...were you referring to this? http://www.yelp.com/topic/qwnwNhvsmTJMOs8JugSDmQ
The topics on yelp go pretty fast, so, without a link, we can only guess what was in the left-hand column when you checked the site.
sorry, bud -- the "left hand link" was not a yelp link; I was referring to SFist's very own Tip function ( http://sfist.com/labs/contribute ).
Thanks for the linkage, tho.

Since I was there Ill let you in on it. It was a traffic stop related to a shooting earlier in the day at Division and Grove. People called in the descrirption of the car and shooter but when it came time to ID them the caller did not want to be contacted. No one arrested all released from the station. Victim driven to SFGH by friend will be fine.
It was Divisadero and Grove, not Division.
My bad your right. No foot beats were able to stop the car.
