The Supervisor's presence today at a "toxic tour" drew lots of media attention to a host of air quality issues in San Francisco's southeast corner.

We're not comparing notable air quality management board member Chris Daly with Godzilla, but they both aren't afraid to start mixing things up a little when fighting for air quality. Other local toxic tours can show you tangible things but some air quality concerns (pretty much everything but smog) can be harder to see of course. Do community groups such as Greenaction have good beefs against Lennar Corporation, P G and E, and others? As always, you make the call, but stuff like this doesn't inspire confidence. Does it all add up to environmental racism?
