Hey! It's Your Top 5 Comments of the Week!

SFist-Top5-balloon-2.jpg

For those of you that haven't seen the Top 5 feature before, this is where we recognize you guys for adding to -- or, in many cases, spawning -- the discussion on SFist's comment threads. Our inbox was flooded after we accidentally skipped last week, and we apologize; accordingly, we're highlighting a few extra for this week. It was appropriate though: you guys raised the game even higher than usual, so there's more to highlight.

1] Amusing that Brock said "Let the bourgeois battle begin" in reference to the "Sanitizing Warm Water Cove" story -- because it seems to us the battle began right here in our comments section. While we were tickled at aj's thought that GMZEEO might come out to help, the best comments in this thread comprised the back and forth involving Ert O’Hara, who came onto SFist to answer critics. Good food for thought, folks.

2] Jess Drake brings the funny regarding Ruby Rippey-Tourk's pending tell all. sangfroid826 does too, actually.

3] Hey, WWJD about noise pollution? fizzandpop has a few good suggestions.

4] Um, well, fizzandpop does it again. Don't want to spoil it for you, but when a comment leads off with "I can't tell you the amount of Vegans I've accidentally got pregnant," you've got to see how it ends. On the more practical side, thanks to Iris and those who backed her up for suggesting a veggie-friendly alternative to Herbivore.

5] Finally, we'll man up and say thanks to everyone who spanked us and supported us -- or some combination of the two -- in that whole "coffee on muni" thing. While this guest's talk about Internet sanctimony was particularly funny, we appreciated the whole discussion.
