What's wrong with those horrible, horrible Republicans "screwing" with the budget? If you have one party owning power, the people (i.e. you, me, us) are usually the losers.

Whether it's cutting state services to nothing (traditionally Republicans) or raising taxes and spending even more (Democrats, usually), if the clowns in Sacramento have to work it out with negotiating, hopefully we (i.e. you, me, us) will be better off for it.

I love Google. I have gotten so much out of Google, but when it come to San Francisco I believe Google could give much more than paying for trips to Switzerland (with Denmark treatment) to our beloved mayor and company.

I feel bad for the drive-by shooters. I grew up in wealth and privledge, and... know how to shoot as a result.

This poor guy in a "silver sedan" fires six shots and only can hit a guy in the ankle?

Gun traning for crimials would protect civilians (no stray shots) and solve the crime problem in a few years (they would off each other).

Brock, until BeyondChron decides to join the rest of the media world and add a comments feature to their page I think SFist should make a statement by not linking to their articles. For a non-profit, who is funded by tax dollars that are supposed to go toward affordable housing, to sound off as an alternative media source and not supply a forum for debate on the positions and statements they make reeks of hypocrisy. Even the Chronicle has a comments feature on their page.
