For a second there I thought you all had scooped the sports world. Then it came to me. SF ain't a sports town and y'all don't know the difference between "resign" and "re-sign". If this had been Boston, or NYC, or St Louis where they love their baseball clubs, you'd have been sleepin' with the fishes.

When I first read your piece on the Giants, I thought, "Holy shit! Sabean RESIGNED? Right after signing an extension?" And off I went to try to learn more. Oh. I get it. You might want to consider saying "re-signing" instead.
