House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's District Representative Dan Bernal spoke out yesterday against possible decreases in health services provided by St. Luke's.

Firefighter's Local 798 President John Hanley, Supervisors Jake McGoldrick and Tom Ammiano, and a host of others attended a rally yesterday against the rumored shut down of the San Francisco hospital. Read about it here. Notable was the short speech from Tom Ammiano (T to the izz-O, M to the izz-A). He expressed support for those opposing the current plans regarding 3400 Cesar Chavez and then ID'ed a more than a few healthcare executives as "sickos". Oh my.
