Guest #23: It doesn't say Gmzeeo, it says Amaze. Amaze is spelled just how I and the artist wrote it. Gmzeeo was a pathetic attempt by someone who couldn't read graffiti. I don't know if it was Brock or someone before him, but that's what led to the confusion in the first place. I'm not saying Amaze is an amazing artist (no pun intended), I'm just saying, if your going to hate something, at least know what it is your hating. Instead, all of you in "anti-Gmzeeo" camp sound like my grandfather. Not to mention the artist was commissioned by the store owner to do this. Maybe, Seamus Furr, the store owner chose to display some art to his liking on his store front, and didn't care what Upper Haight yuppies thought? And how does one choose to be lucky sperm? What the hell is that supposed to mean anyway? They chose to be uptight cunts? God Bless America.

Let's face it, graffiti-as-Art peaked with Keith Haring in the mid-Eighties. It's worth about a page in your typical 1200-page art survey text (Hartt, Gardner, Janson and ilk).

Gmzeeo cannot spell. What sort of word is gmzeeo anyways. It is a nonsense phrase (with a fart) from a nonsensical artist. I'm down with yr dada, especially if it is all legal. I'm with you guest 21. Graffiti was Art about 30 years ago. Honestly, anyone could do that AMAZE shit. I used to live across the street from that site, and I always wondered why the Gap maintained that location as long as they did. Van, these days most people in the Marina AND in the Upper Haight are not mere lucky/unlucky sperm -- they chose to be that way.

Gmzeeo and Ribbity should tag each others work. That way they could contain their output to a few locations. That would be great because I could avoid those locations cuz that shit be so awful. Dudes youse are like so postmodern with your lawbreaky escapades! I've never seen spraypaint artwork before. That graffiti tagging - who'd a figger that the kids would take it so far? I think that the real thing to do would be to use a justin.tv thang and tag yourselves in tattoo workings. That way everyone and no one could simultaneously see your work. Did someone go around peeing in cheerios this morning? It blows because Gmzeeo's tag was cool, and now it's gone even though rvca isn't open yet. The paint is gone from the windows, but it remains on the remainder of the facade. You can't see the chicken at all! :)

A temporary art piece is being removed, probably after another hundred tags were put on it and the owner lacks the funds to comply with the city's graffiti laws, this blows? No what blows is the permanent mural on the corner of Scott and Haight destroyed by taggers. I never cared all that much mural itself, but it is an example why land owners don't put up murals anymore.
