Harry Potter and the Smooth Chest (Non-Baseball Event)

hp.bmp
Just in case you think baseball is the only thing going on in this city right now, it most certainly is not. The latest Harry Potter franchise will hit you soon and hard. And we thought it would be imperative to point out an alternative and Potter-related event for the kiddies -- especially for your little blessings who, say, can't catch a ball, if you know what we're saying.

Anyway, check it:

The purple triple-decker Harry Potter Knight Bus will be parked outside the Main Library (Grove St. side) from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, and a couple hundred kids who won the chance in an online drawing will get to board the bus and make a video about why they love HP. [See image to the right. -- SFist] The bus moves on to Oakland in the afternoon, concluding its 37-city library tour of the U.S.

Expect kids of all ages in wizardry costumes, great picture opportunities, live performances, and librarians literally out in the sunlight, tomorrow from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at San Francisco Public Library-Main Branch; 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Oakland Public Library-Main Branch

How precious. I might however, show up, sporting an Equus window card to edumacate those little rugrats on the wonder that is the happy trail.

Oh that's horrible.
