Oh No Ed Jew!: Slumber Party

jew_sm.jpg
Wow, Rita's on vacay for a few days and there's Ed Jew news! What to do? (Sudden flashbacks of left field, hoping the ball won't come, and, oh, poop . . . )

The Chron has the goods on Mr. Jew's lawyers' 138-page response to City Attorney Dennis Herrera's initiation of proceedings to remove Mr. Jew from his board of supes post. In a nutshell, Tapioca Ed's team is purporting that he kept part-time residence in his Sunset house, and slept there with "increasing frequency." Team Tapioca says that's good enough -- they think, as the Chron's piece says, that "it's intent, not actual days in a house, that legally determines a politician's official residence."

Also provided is a great slew of answers to all the questions (some of which we've heard before):
Q: Neighbors don't see Jew?
A: He's working hard! Leaving early, coming in late, spending weekends in Burlingame.
Q: No cable? No phone service? Minimal h20 bill? No garbage?
A: He likes his antenna-based TV! Only uses his cellie! Showers (as we've heard before) at his flower shop! Dumps his garbage there too!

Heck, we're satisfied!

so, basically, what ed jew's own representatives are saying is, whenever he is in the district, he is unconscious.

great.

Is this the best T-Ed can come up with?

Lets face it: This guy wants to hang on to power no matter what. The result will be many many months in the slammer!

so ed jew intended to live in san francisco even if he wasn't actually living there. cool. for a while there i was thinking he was just completely full of shit.

My favorite excuse was reported in the Chron like this: "attorneys Steven Gruel and James Sutton also charged that Herrera had demonstrated 'clear prejudice and bias' in his investigation of Jew by only using white investigators and reporting information only from white residents of the heavily Chinese American neighborhood."

Now, I have never met Mr. Gruel or Mr. Sutton, but these do not sound like Chinese names to me. This race card appears to be a Joker.

Burlingame Ed is now suggesting (through his lawyers (why does he need more than one attorney?)) that we need to examine and savor and contemplate his Royal intention to actually live in a house in the Sunset District of San Francisco...

Burlingame Ed should quit playing this penny-ante game in S. F. and go join the Bush crime family, a gang that really knows how to lie, cheat and steal. However, stone-faced Burlingame Ed will have to practice hard on his smirk. You can't work for the Bush crime family unless you can smirk on a moment's notice.

I can't believe he's still showing up for work.
Isn't that sort of awkward. There you are, being Mirkarimi or Dufty and sitting next to you is Ed Jew. Wouldn't you be all "Ehhh...mah...Gawwwd!"

"Ed and Lisa are raising their 8 year old daughter in the Sunset District"

This is still up on his bio.
I don't get it.
Dude- Just leave.

Still can't sign in with my log in...

So if Ed Jew takes his trash to his chinatown shop, does he pay for garbage service there, or deposit in a city-provided can down the street?

Oh no, Ed Jew!: is my favorite entertainment this month.

Rita and co. is the best.

He is helping his daughter with her summer camp outreach program project in hot b game right now. Run the sprinklers, and the shower.

Fun and circus games!

So y'all keep being amused ... all that Gavin's masters care about is that you're entertained until July 10!

Ho ho ho! Fun with Ed!

Michela and Bevan and Sean are feeling so lonesome...

# 11 is right of course, but gavin doesn't really care what we think. he is in the PERFECT position right now and there's nothing in the world that could make him kick Jew out before July 10. it doesn't matter how much we are or aren't entertained. Newsom wins this one no matter what. end of story.

It's amazing that the politicians of this city pretend to live here while the majority of us are struggling to pay the bills let alone survive.
