This Whole Town Could Be Yours

imagine.JPG

Banner from advert on eBay the last time Bridgeville went on sale.
We're not sure how the pending sale of Red Rock Island is going, but if you miss out on it (or are not quite rich enough), here's another fun alternative: buy this town. For a mere $1.3 million, Bridgeville, population 30, in Humboldt County, can be yours! And who is facilitating this transaction via the innerweb but eBay, as it has former transactions.

"Picturesque but dilapidated"?? We're so there! The previous owner killed himself? Well, that's just local color, right?

Ahhh, perhaps some local neighboring municipality will annex Bridgeville, and stop this whole silly thing . . .

Cheaper than a Ricon hill condo.

Someone who toured the property the last time it was made available for sale described it charitably as a "shithole" and said the price is about half a million too high. What the buyer gets is a handful of buildings beyond repair and all the worry and lawsuits following the inevitability that at some point a trespasser or squatter will get killed by an inevitable structural collapse.
