SFist Tonight
We always hate it when we see a new Seymour Hersh article in the New Yorker, because we know it's going to be something really upsetting that the Bush Administration's done. Last week's article detailed just how badly Donald Rumsfeld treated Gen. Antonio Taguba, who did the investigation on the abuses and torture at Abu Ghraib. Give Gen. Taguba a hero's welcome and hear his story in person at the Commonwealth Club tonight at 6 p.m. 595 Market 2nd Floor (x 2nd St), $18.
Other events (all movies, because Monday's a tough night):
--You've got Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer in a straight-gay love affair and a movie about Tibet, both at 7 p.m., at the Roxie.
--Microcinema screenings at 111 Minna, on the topic "Is Perception Reality?" $6, 8 p.m., and 111 Minna's off Mission and 2nd.
--Have you seen Colma: The Musical yet? GO!!! At the Embarcadero Theater (1 Embarcadero Ctr). Tickets at Moviefone, or call 777-FILM.
