A friend of SFist emailed us and asked if we could put up some information about her friend's missing mother. Please call if you see the woman pictured above, or if you have any information that can help.
Dear SFist people,My friend Daisy's mom has been missing since yesterday morning and we cannot find her. She was last seen at her husband's house in Sacramento. She has dementia and diabetes but does not have her medication with her. She does however, have her ID.
She might be trying to get back to her house in Union City, but we are not sure. She also might have taken an Amtrak train. I have attached a flyer about it. We have called the police, hospitals etc, but now we are just trying to get her picture out to as many people as possible.
Call 254-291-5201 or 916-978-0166 if you have any information at all. We're hoping for good news.

Thank you so much sfist.com for being so kind and supportive. We found Daisy's mom this evening at the Hayward bus station. She was unharmed and sfae, just hungry and thirsty. I have to say, going through an experience like this makes me glad to live in SF. I received nothing but offers of kindness and support when I reached out for help. Go home and hug your mothers! Thanks again. Aimee
Oh, I'm so glad! That's great!
