Four things wrong with the picture:

1. The plastic Chinatown shopping bags are not all pink!

2. There is no garbage on the MUNI platform.

3. The sign on the train sez "M" but the platform sign sez "L"

4. Ed Jew [visible in the front window disguised in a sombrero] is asking the driver if the train is going to Burlingame, contrary to the destination sign.

The Chris Daly reassignment news just made my day. Thank you!

1) No trash on the platform.
2) No one drinking or eating.
3) No iPods.
4) No one screaming into their cell phones.

For those nitpicking about the sign not matching the car... stop whining, at least the sign is legible.

Are we gonna get any respite from this gun violence? What is it gonna take to rid the city of these violent criminals terrorizing the people that live in Bayview/HP, the Mission, SOMA and the Western Addition?

SF: MISSION DISTRICT SHOOTING LEAVES ONE PERSON DEAD 06/16/07 10:10 PDT

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN)

A shooting in San Francisco's Mission district this evening left one person dead, a San Francisco operations officer reported.

The shooting occurred at around 8 p.m. near the intersection of ">24th and Balmy streets, just north of Garfield Square, according to the officer.

Hey, let's give the cops a 24.5% raise as a reward for the great job they're doing in keeping us safe from violence.

I understand that the SFPD and Kamala Harris are prosecuting a bicyclist for DUI.

Way to go, San Francisco law enforcement!

BAN the following:

guns, violent video games and cinema, and hip-hop & rap "music"

Also secondarily, gold chains, baggy pants and pit bulls.
Legalize crack and meth for sale in corner markets but ONLY on weekends and holidays, pacific time.

Beginning in 2009, all new cars and SUVs sold should not have glove compartments. That way, existing guns and reload ammo can not be concealed.

mariconsoy, are you for real? Such an extensive ban wouldn't fly anywhere except in a fascist country. Legalizing, regulating and taxing the sale of some drugs is a step in the right direction.

So we decided to head over on MUNI to the Dogpatch for some brunch. The 22 Fillmore was running on diesel due to Juneteenth, we got off at 20th. We headed down to the eatery and the line was too long.

Not to worry, as the T Third line was right there.

On the platform at 12:10, the NextMuni read that a car would arrive in 11 minutes. The car ran slow and the next car was closing in on it over time. Ours ended up arriving in 12. We stopped on 4th Street at King for a good 5 minutes, at the portal for another good 5 minutes, and behind the previous car for at least 2 minutes per Market Street Station.

The line indicators were likewise awry, reading our car a mysterious "K Castro" line, sometimes it came up as an "L."

All the way, we trailed the previous car and the subsequent T car was eating our dust.

Our 33 ride back was slow, the operator probably wanting to stay on schedule and stopping at lights he could have made.

Oh, yeah, forgot to say, we left the 20th Street Station, the one with the funky saturn-like public "art" at 12:22 and arrived at Church Street Station at 1:01.

Only 39 min!
