Remember yesterday, when Supervisor Ed Jew told the city attorney that the reason why his water bills were so low at his purported house in the Sunset because he showered at his flower shop, and we said we wanted to see the water bills for the store?
Well, lookee here! The Bay Guardian's gone and done it -- and there is no running water in the flower shop. NO!!!!
Well, to be precise, the flower shop (at 117 Waverly in Chinatown) does not have an active SFPUC account. The Guardian thinks maybe Ed's mooching water off the residential building next to the flower store which Jew also owns, or maybe he just washes himself with a hose. Orrrrr.... maybe he fills a tub with water in Burlingame, drives it up to the city, and then takes sponge baths from it all week. Sure!
We're really looking forward to seeing what he says in response to this one. Tapioca Ed, the questions are mounting!

Maybe he showers with a garden sprayer, as when camping?
Perhaps he runs through sprinklers? Or perhaps he's gone all 19th century and only showers once a week and uses lots and lots of perfume.
Great. This is officially the "Stinky Defense."
Sheesh, Ed - I don't expect politicians to be truthful but I demand that the lies be better than this.

Looks like Ed has thrown away the shovel he was using to dig a hole for himself and moved up to a backhoe, what's next the story about him abusing alcohol or a fake rehab session with gavin, either way he needs Eric Jaye to start the spin, it worked for that other idiot.
I haven't showered in weeks!
Another "D-oh!" moment.
Can't wait till tomorrow's.
He's out to steal our precious bodily fluids.
Obviously Ed's just another out-of-towner with the impression that all San Franciscans are dirty non-showering hippies and is just trying his hardest to fit in.
I wash my hands of this matter.
Ed Jew is a jerk. Givin' the Sunset a bad name. Shame on him for being so easy-on-the-take.
Boo...humbug.
"Tapioca Ed" claims he doesn't live in Burlingame, yet he surrenders to the Burlingame Police Dept.
