i had to go pick up my neighbors after b2b since muni can't find their own ass to save their life. what a joke. not like it's the 95th year of this annual event or anything, wherein you can predict to 100 or so people how many 10's of thousands will need a ride to the start by 8am and ride back across town around 2pm. get a life!!!!! on another note, lets all just admit what huge catastrophy the T (Thug Third) line has been and start over. instead of making the few folks from bayview with a job walk across the street at 4th the N, we made all the penninsula and south beachers walk to and share the Thug Third line with these hoodlums. give me a break. switch it around, asap!

"back to the good old east bay" -- don't hear that often. Well I didn't run in the bay to breakers, but I did drive out to Lands End at 2PM, and I saw many B2Bers walking east on Geary with thumbs extended. I saw people as far east as 5th Avenue. And not very many 38's; they were all packed to the gills. It must suck to run 7 miles, get drunk, and then walk 4 miles back in the opposite direction, all before dinner.

MUNI sucked for me like it usually sucks the few times a year I have to ride it. This year, instead of paying $7 for a $1.50 bus ride that sucks even more than the usual $1.50 bus ride, I decided to just try the N with a plain old $1.50. It took freakin' forever, FOREVER, to get to Civic Center, where I got off and finally boarded a BART train back to the good old East Bay.
