According to the Garmin GPS I was using, the highest point is indeed in GG Park, not the top of Hayes Street Hill.

You're incorrect. Runners go BY Prayer Book Cross, not over it. You'd think you'd remember climbing up a 300 foot hill in Golden Gate Park with a large cross on it?

We took an N-Judah from 48th & Judah about 10:30 am and had no problem. There were a whole bunch of trains heading in both directions. By about 19th Ave, our train caught the one that had left about 5 minutes earlier. While our train was fairly full, we never go to "Footstock" so we haven't had to deal with overcrowded trains filled with inebriated people. The only thing was that it wasn't clear what stops the train would make. When we boarded, the sign said "Not in Service", then the operator changed it to 'S-Shuttle Embarcadero", but it seemed like he would stop at any normal stop if someone pulled the stop cable. We exited at Duboce & Church.

the day that muni can figure out how to get people to the start and home from the end is the day we should never criticize them for anything they do. until then, they are the clueless fucks they will always be and deserve zero respect as an organization!

I assume the nudity "ban" is there to discourage people running naked, not to actually enforce the rule which would bring about howls of protest. Having said that, there may well have been people who actually thought that no naked people would be there and came out as a result.

The nudity ban is about as effective as MUNI operations...on a day like today there were a lot of nudists out there.
