Reading Terry Ryan's book was so rich that I was deliberately putting it down just to make it "last" longer. I read it again after I saw the movie-coincidentally, I had won two passes in a contest-and I LOVED it too. I even got it for a hospitalized friend. Woody Harrelson's role as Terry's rage-filled father is still vivid in my mind. And I think SFistElaine would love the dresses Ryan's mother/Julianne Moore wore -- I did.
