Great "Seven Faces of Dr. Lao" quote, probably my favorite children's movie of all time. Just as applicable, perhaps, is the vinegary yin to the hopeful yang of Dr. Lao, when the fortuneteller tells the foolish old woman that she will neither strike oil on her worthless land nor will she be remarried: "Tomorrow will be like today, and the day after tomorrow will be like the day before yesterday. You'll die, wither to dust, and for all the good or evil you've accomplished in this world, you might just as well have never lived." This is a paraphrase from memory, but I'll never forget the look on the great character actress' face as she's being told this awful truth. At age 10, I burst into tears and was inconsolable.

If you go to Flickr.com and do a search of the tag "JPGMagazine" you'll find like, a ton of people with screenshots of them quitting JPG in solidarity with the founders. I noticed a rash of these on friends' flickr streams yesterday and was wondering what was going on, if JPG had gone out of business or crashed or something.
