Day Around the Bay

-There were rallies everywhere yesterday in protest of recent immigration sweeps.

-The Maze Meltdown means more BART riders and less available parking.

-Mother of "Naked Guy" sues Santa Clara county over the death of her son.

-Board of Supes pass housing measure despite Gavin's disapproval.

-Plan to build bandshell in the Panhandle gets the NIMBY treatment.

-Kamala wants to hire prosecutors to go after petty crimes.

-Somebody tried to throw an apple at the Dalai Lama during a visit to SF. Man, one could only imagine the bad karma that would come out of that.

An open air market would would a good use of this area such as the UN plaza's farmers market,combined arts & crafts of The cable car turn-around with a mixture of flea marketing.The community can benefit as well as the Park & Rec from fees collected.
