SFIFF: Parker Posey Pictures!
Drew Altizer is on fire! He passed along these adorable pictures of adorable Parker Posey, who was in town yesterday for the screenings of her two (count 'em, two) indie movie extravaganzas last night for the SFIFF -- Broken English (by Zoe Cassavetes -- yes, of that Cassavetes family) and Fay Grim (by Hal Hartley -- yes, that Hal Hartley).

Yes, Parker is always amazing and entertaining. Jen Siebel makes the women on Telemundo telenovellas look like Meryl Streep. Wake up Gavin.
Why doesn't Gavin date her, you ask? Because, as noted above, she's hot AND talented! And she's not blond. Gavin is too busy ignoring us and hob nobbing with national Dems in San Diego -- the home of bubbly and babbling blondes. Hmmmm...

Oh, I don't believe that Parker is a Scientogolist. Thats an immediate strike against her in Gavin's book.

I saw her several years ago on Broadway in "Taller Than a Dwarf" opposite Matthew Broderick. Love her.
Did the Mayor do something really bad to piss off SFist? I'm not sure how even this item has turned into anti-Gavin ranting.
I saw the previews to Fay Grim the other day. Didn't realize it was the sequal to Henry Fool. Looks pretty good.
Probably much better than Year of the Dog, which is much darker than it looks by the way, but then again, so was Chuck and Buck.
People, I have said this before. If you don't like "girl next door" types, that's fine-- Jen S. is not your type, I get it. She is still attractive. Parker Posey is attractive, in an "artsy chick" kind of way. Either one (or in my dreams, both) can eat crackers in my bed anytime.
I am one of Parkers biggest fans (not stalker, just like her movies) and would love a photo / autograph. Any ideas where I could be and when to try and see Parker while she is in SF?

Gavin is no paragon of virtue (after all, he slept with his close friend's wife) and may be a sleazebag. I don't know Jen S., other than making some crazy ass coments defending her boyfriend. But look at it this way, maybe they deserve each other.
None taken. I agree, I didn't mean to imply he is a man of virtue. I just don't like Jen Sieb and her superior attitude after the catty crap she pulled. Gavin may be a creep indeed, but Jen went way too far.
