Sharks 2 Wings 1- Sometime in the 2nd period, when the Sharks were down by 1, the announcers started discussing how lifeless the Sharks were and how they were sucking out all the energy in the arena. A few seconds later, Gooooalllllllllll! Oh, sorry, wrong sport. The tying goal, by Ryane Clowe, energized everyone and for the rest of the game, the Sharks knocked, knocked, knocked on the Red Wings goal until with about six minutes left to play, Jonathan Cheechoo scored another goal: game, set match. Oh wait, that’s another sport too. The Sharks are now up 2-1 in the series, with the next game at the Shark Tank Wednesday night.

Giants 9 Rockies 5 Despite the score, this game was hella tighter than it looked. Noah Lowry got himself out of a bases loaded, one out jam in the first and Steve Kline got the Giants out of a bases loaded, no out jam in the seventh. The Giants scored five in the first, three of them on a homerun by Pedro Feliz, only to watch the Rockies creep ever so closer and closer and closer, until the 7th when the Giants were able to break the game open, most of them gifts from the Rockies defense. The Giants snapped their three game losing streak with the night's win.
