Around the Dial
You know, if last fall wasn't exactly a great time for Bay Area sports, this spring, especially this weekend, has to be considered a great moment. We listened to Gary Radnich this morning and he was complaining about not having anything to complain about.
First up, the Day After the Warriors Victory.
-The Mercury News has a recap of highlights from the game and reactions elsewhere. Kind of like this, but different.
-Bruce Jenkins loved last night's game.
-Tim Kawakami thinks last night was definitive proof the Warriors own Dallas.
-As does Deadspin.
-Golden State of Mind is in high heaven.
-Over in Dallas, they're stunned.
-ESPN has a whole load of juicy stories about the game, all of which you have to have a subscription to.
-The Mavs turn the heat on (in the locker room) and Stephen Jackson makes a little joke about his run ins with the cops.
Now, onto other things
-McCovey has warm, fuzzy feelings about the Giants rotation but decides to start a Dead Pool to see which pitcher will eventually give away to Tim "the Wizard" Linceum.
-El Lefty (congrats on the upgrade!) can't make his mind up on the Giants this year, but also has warm fuzzies over the starting rotation.
-And the Merc has the warm fuzzies over Bruce Bochy
-Barry B takes very good care of his bats.
-Athletics Nation makes a game of managing the A's.
-Niners Nation has all of your pre-draft information online.
