Hot Stuff: Food Blog Round Up

piccino_041407_004.jpg

I Food U Food gets all meaty and even gives us the DL on what exactly Moishe's Pippic really means. Well now isn't that special? Feeding my Enthusiasms takes us on a visually pleasing picnic that left us wanting cheese, bread, and wine, ahora! Screw this work crap. Another journey we'd like to take, uh, anytime is to a place serving garlic noodles and crab. Gastronomie lucked into the Jack London Square Crab Crawl recently.

If crab doesn't warm your cockles like it does ours, how about some clay pot Ca Kho To, or Caramel Fish at Cooking with the Single Guy? There's some helpful claypot tips, too. Give Me Some Food offers up an interesting story that perhaps illustrates what it means in a restaurant to be a squeaky wheel/demanding/borderline rude customer.

So it's not just us wondering about those silly but sorta cute "Everybody's Nuts! Pistachios" ads on BART. Anita from Married with Dinner has spotted a funny version in the Glen Park BART station.

If you're on the new MUNI T-line, consider checking out Piccino Cafe, as The Shot did. Did you want to lick the picture above, or have recurring coffee fantasies about the "deep medium brown crema with darker brown flecks and a foamy consistency?" It's our job to titillate, and we aim to please.
