We were really sad we didn't make it to the Bring Your Own Big Wheel event this Saturday as it sounded like a lot of fun. Things like this are one of the reasons why we love this city, the fact that a whole bunch of people would get together to do something completely silly just for the sake of being completely silly. Even better, nobody did it to "reclaim the streets for Big Wheels" or "to symbolize the dehumanizing nature of the corporate world."
Luckily, we knew it would somehow make it's way to YouTube and we found a whole smattering of videos out there of the event. This one, clocking in at 8 minutes was the best one we found. It had vantage points from all over Lombard Street and included what looked like a massive Big Wheel pile up. Wheee!

Damn those big wheelers! They're not respecting the rules of the road and they're taking up precious traffic space! Newsome needs to look into this -- they are threat to drivers and pedestrians on Lombard St, making them a cancer to our beloved tourism industry!!! Stop the critical wheels!!
