It's Got to Be the Morning After

-The A's just tied last year's total of losses to the M's by losing 8-4. Richie Sexson again did the damage with his second home run of the season and Yuniesky Betancourt had a two-run homer in the 7th off of Kiko Calero to take the lead. Also of note was another defensive uh-oh as a ball hit to Bobby Kielty bounced off his knee and went out of bounds.

-After just two games, Athletics Nation is already a little concerned.

-In a wrap up of reaction to Opening Day, McCovey Chronicles describes the game as "bleah". El Lefty calls it ugly, and Giants Cove goes the Big Lebowski route.

-In light of yesterday's dud, Barry Zito remains cool as he always seems to be.

-The Betting Fool whines his way through Opening Day.

-The Rai-duhs are back in court to get money they were supposed to have received for allegedly being forced out of LA. For a team that supposedly loves their hometown, they sure do have LA on the brain.

-Golden State of Mind tries to figure out who'll get the last spot in the West and it's not great news for the Warriors.
