Univision: "You okay, Gavin?"
Gavin: "Imo get to that question when I get through this door!"
KGO: "Did your hair get bigger, or is the doorway getting smaller?"
Gavin: "Why's everybody gotta hate? I killed that town hall meeting. I'm the best mayor in the world!"
Pat Murphy: "Is it true you got rid of your entire blue tie collection to quell the wrath of SFist Rita?"
Gavin: "SFist Rita wasn't even here. What's up with that? They sent that creampuff, SFist Elaine, instead."
SFist Elaine: "Whatev, Gavin. You are so DTM!*"

*DTM = Dead To Me. Ex: "If I catch Vanessa Traina wearing that designer do rag in public, she's DTM."

I got two captions

"Don't touch the hair"

"I like being between a rock and a hard place, I am already running against myself for Mayor. I got the whole race covered there is the guy who wears blue ties and me the guy who wears red ties this is just preperation for when I run for President of the United States when i am in a Red state I will wear the Red tie...get it?"

Elaine, you're such a pasmada... that's the Univision logo, not Telemundo.

Oopsie! My mistake. What channel is Univision?

Is that Gavin's "oh..." face?

Letter to various editor. (Thanks Luke).
NEWSOM'S TRAVELING CIRCUS.
As those of us who have attended our puppet Mayor's re-election campaign events, financed by tax payer dollars under the guise of "Town Hall Meetings', know only to well, he does not respond to any question that deviates from his prepared stump speech. My question at Caesar Chavez the other night, which I handed to him directly, (eat your heart out Beth), was, I think, germane and critical to the topic of Health Care. You be the judge'
"If, as you claim, you are focused on 'greening' this city and truly care about the health and welfare of it's residents, what action do you plan to take to stop Lennar from continuing to poison the residents of the Bayview. If you can not even keep the toilets in Portsmouth Square Park clean, as you recently lamented, how exactly do you propose to clean up radioactive wastes at Hunters Point Shipyard ?"
On a related topic, the recent article in the SF Chronically Challenged reporting on a "community meeting" in the Bayview asserting wide spread support for the Redevelopment Agencys plan to gentrify the South East sector, prominently featured a photo of legendary long time activist Espanola Jackson. There was no reference to her or her views in the copy. The clear intent was to create the impression that she favored the proposal. I have it on the best authority, a conversation with Espanola, that she remains steadfast in her opposition to this landgrab and re-peopling of her community by Maxwell's Marauders, Newsom/Lennar Inc, the PAC, the CAC and all the other bought and paid for special interests complicit in this racial injustice. This blatant attempt by the Kronikle to twist and manipulate public opinion through false and misleading 'reporting' comes as no surprise, it is after all what they are paid to do by those who decide what news is 'fit to print' in order to advance the schemes of the speculators and downtown power brokers. I would however suggest that the placement of Ms. Jacksons picture in this context is bordering on libelous, whether or not it is actionable is a determination way above my pay grade, but at the very least I think this sorry excuse for a newspaper owes Espanola an apology and equal time to clarify her position and remove any doubts as to where her loyalties truly lie.
