Never Let them See You Sweat
Yes, that was SFist on CBS 5 last night, hobnobbing with Phil Matier and thanks to SFist Rain, we finally have the clip of it. Watch SFist Jon pretend to be an expert on this newfangled YouTube thing! Thrill to him trying to come up with pithy things to say and fail! Watch his flop sweat!
Actually, the whole bit was about what MattyMatt's clip of the Muni driver and his girlfriend shows us about this newfangled world we live in and whether or not it is indeed the fall of Western Civilization. We can't say we added much to anything but you get to thrill once again to MattyMatt's clip and relive the earlier clip involving a rider berating a driver over his transfer.
Good times, good times.

Does the self-congratulation on this site never end? How many times do we need to hear about the fact that you were on the news? Big effing deal. Give it a rest, get over yourselves, and move on.
It's not totally exciting that we were, again, mentioned on the local news; but the story itself does raise some interesting questions.
For example: How can Phil Matier possibly work up the courage to leave the house in the morning if he is so terrified of being seen by other people?
Phil Matier is so utterly useless! Little Brother indeed. I think Phil must be the new spokesman for the SEIU since he thinks that filming an illegle act is invasion of privacy. Dan kicks his drunken ass up and down 5th all day and all night.
I figured there'd be an anti-Matier spin when the clip got posted. But dang... he didn't say "filming an illegle act is invasion of privacy," it was more along the lines of 'don't act stupid cause it might be capture on camera.' I know, how dare he take a different spin on a story; it must be awful to hear something original.
And I didn't realize we were on a first name basis with "Dan." Is someone here related to "Dan?" Why are folks always kissing up to him so much?
