Sorry, I don't care WHAT Vougue says. That dress is ugly. It's not flattering on her AT ALL! The only one I ever saw pull it off with style is a California Grape.

Expensive and hot off the runway or not, the best fashion is that which flatters you. This does not flatter her (nor would it flatter anyone -- some runway looks are best left on the runway).

My S.O. dragged me away from the computer long enough to get to the de Young museum to see the Vivienne Westwood's "collection". 1) The de Young was freaky crowded, especially right at the Westwood exhibition. Next time we'll go during the week, when it will just be us versus the (few, uninformed) tourists. 2) Half the Westwood collection would be right at home fitted on S.F.'s homeless population (it's hard to believe torn jeans & torn t-shirts were still so fashionable well into the 90's).
