It's Got to Be the Morning After

-The Sharks thrashed the Trashers last night with a 5-1 win as Jonathan Cheechoo led the way with a hat track and Joe Thornton had three assists. Atlanta had won seven in a row at home but were no match for the Sharkies. Said the Thrashers coach: "Thornton, Cheechoo and the bunch gave us quite a display of hockey."

-Marques Tuiasosopo signs with the Jets so the Raiders went out and signed Josh Booty as a possible backup. Booty hasn't played in the league since 2003. Ah, the Raiders....
